This high-quality poplin with stretch content combines the classic, smooth look of poplin with a touch of elasticity for more comfort and freedom of movement. The fabric consists of 97% cotton and 3% spandex – ensuring it remains pleasantly natural to the touch, yet is slightly stretchable and optimally adapts to the body shape.
With a weight of 125 g/m² and a width of 147 cm, it is light, fine, and yet dimensionally stable – perfect for precise cuts and detailed sewing projects.
What makes Spandex special?
Compared to classic poplin, this fabric, with its small proportion of spandex (also known as elastane), offers a subtle yet noticeable stretchability. This makes garments more comfortable and better fitting, without sacrificing the classic look and feel of cotton poplin.
