This material is very easy to work with and has a particularly pleasant feel.

Corduroy has velvety longitudinal ribs and was originally manufactured mainly in Manchester, England. It is very durable and used to be worn mainly by factory workers. Today it is used in countless variations. From baby clothes to casual wear such as jackets and trousers, to accessories and home textiles such as bags, backpacks or decorative cushions.

This corduroy fabric has 4.5 wales, which means that its ribs are quite wide. A baby corduroy, for example, has around 21 wales. The lower the number, the wider the ribs.
