The epitome of textile elegance

Duchesse satin is a dense, firm and medium-weight fabric (100% polyester, 215 g/m²), which stands out for its dimensional stability and durability. It is opaque, robust and, thanks to its firm structure, can be cut and processed excellently without warping significantly.

The characteristic surface impresses with a noble, luxurious sheen that is not obtrusive, but classic and slightly matte shimmering. In the hands, it feels smooth, high-quality and particularly tactile, while the fine weave gives it a dense, closed structure.

In contrast to light, flowing satin, Duchesse has a distinct "stand". It does not collapse softly but retains its volume. This perfectly supports cuts, conceals wonderfully, and excellently highlights pleats or architectural cuts.


Care instructions

  • Washing: Gentle cycle or delicate wash up to 30 °C
  • Drying: Do not tumble dry
  • Ironing: Only at low temperature (1 dot, max. 110 °C)
  • Bleaching: Chlorine bleach not possible
  • Dry cleaning: Gentle cleaning possible
