Heavy Kalmuck – Maximum functionality from 100% cotton
With a proud weight of 465 g/m², this double-sided brushed Kalmuck is the first choice for all projects where substance and protection matter. The massive cotton double weave convinces with an extremely strong, voluminous feel and a soft, fluffy surface that nevertheless has high inherent stability.
Thanks to its excellent material properties, this fabric is a true all-rounder: as a table felt, it protects delicate surfaces from heat and impact, while also dampening acoustics. In the sleeping area, it serves as a highly absorbent, boil-proof mattress topper for natural hygiene and maximum comfort. The pure natural fiber also offers the necessary resistance for technical applications such as insulating curtains or heat-resistant kitchen aids.
Whether as upholstery protection, sound absorber, or thermal barrier – this heavy Kalmuck combines traditional robustness with natural softness.
Care instructions
- Washing: Boil-proof up to 90°C
- Drying: Can be tumble dried
- Ironing: Possible at medium temperature
- Chlorine bleach: Possible
- Dry cleaning: Possible
- Shrinkage: 5 - 8% on first wash
- Pilling: As the fabric is brushed on both sides, it tends to shed slightly at first. A single pre-wash sets the fibers.
