Solid Cotton Fabric
Also called Flag Fabric or Cretonne
Cretonne is one of the most popular fabrics. It is characterized by its special texture and is often used for decoration, home textiles and clothing. In short, it's an absolute all-rounder.
In contrast to the softer and lighter poplin, this item is somewhat more dimensionally stable and more tightly woven. It is therefore ideal for anything that requires a certain stability. Examples include decorative cushions, storage baskets, tablecloths and similar items. But it is also perfectly suitable for clothing such as skirts with pleats, dresses, aprons, etc.

Care Instructions
- Washing: Colored fabrics: Gentle cycle at 30 °C to 40 °C (color detergent recommended)
- White fabric: Up to 60 °C (heavy-duty detergent suitable)
- Drying: Suitable on gentle cycle (air drying recommended for longer durability)
- Ironing: Hot possible (level 2–3, up to 200 °C) – ideally with steam or when slightly damp
- Bleaching: Not possible (do not use chlorine bleach for colored fabrics)
Important note for processing:
Since this is a natural product made of 100% cotton, the fabric may shrink slightly (approx. 5–10%) during the first wash. Please pre-wash the fabric once before cutting and sewing.
