Cretonne is one of the fabrics that enjoys great popularity. It is characterized by its special feel and is often used in the decorative sector, for home textiles and clothing. In other words, it is an absolute all-rounder.
In contrast to the softer and lighter poplin, this article is somewhat more dimensionally stable and woven more tightly. It is therefore ideal for anything that requires a certain level of stability. Examples of this are decorative cushions, storage baskets, tablecloths and the like. But it is also ideal for clothing such as skirts with pleats, dresses, aprons, etc.
