The trousers are available in two different versions: one is wide-cut and almost floor-length, the other sportier, with a narrower leg that can be rolled up. The waistband sits at the waist, so slightly higher. The trousers have an additional strip on the sides, shifting the side seam forward. This makes accessing the side pockets particularly convenient.
At the back, either one or two piped pockets are incorporated. If sewing such pockets seems too complicated, you can alternatively simply attach a patch pocket. (Tip: It's not that difficult, just try it on a small piece of fabric first...)
Fabric recommendation (See "Suitable Fabrics for Combining" below)
It's best to use woven fabrics such as linen, cotton, or thinner denim fabrics (approx. 130g/m²). For the airier version of the Kelly, you should also ensure that the fabric drapes beautifully. Viscose blends are also suitable here.
Fabric requirement for a fabric width of 140cm
= Size 43-38 >165cm
= Size 40 = 175cm
= Size 42 - 44 = 185cm
= Size 46 - 48 = 195cm
= Size 50 = 210cm
= Size 52 = 220cm
= Size 54 = 230cm
ATTENTION!
The trousers are rotated 90 degrees against the grainline when cutting. This saves a lot of fabric! However, the quantities are therefore only designed for woven fabrics that have no pattern or grain direction.
