A dream for sewing beginners. A jacket like this really makes a statement, and yet you can sew it within an hour.
The jacket has a relaxed fit but still sits close to the body. This makes it suitable for wearing under a thicker jacket or coat in cooler weather.
2 Length Variants
The pattern offers two length options, with the short jacket having a wider waistband and the longer one a narrower one. It can be sewn entirely from a single fabric, but the cuffs and binding strip can also be made from ribbing fabric.
With a few simple adjustments, the basic jacket pattern can be transformed into a long jacket by simply adjusting the length accordingly. Even sewing beginners can easily do this. Only the slit pockets of the long jacket variant (which are not included in the instructions) require a bit more sewing experience, but patch pockets are a simple alternative.
Fabric Recommendation (See "Suitable fabrics to combine" below)
Stretchy fabrics with volume are ideal. Examples include sweat, jersey jacquard, or French terry.

From one fabric
Short and long variant:
= Sizes S-M > 1.4m
= Size L-XL >1.6m
= Size XXL >1.8m
Cuffs and binding strip from a different fabric
short variant:
= Body: 1.20m
= Cuffs: 30cm
long variant:
= Body: 1.30m
= Cuffs: 20cm
