Stretch linen by the meter
Stretchy linen with viscose and elastane
Linen is a traditional fiber valued for its texture and natural beauty. It gives the stretch linen fabric a rustic touch and a characteristic structure. Linen is naturally cooling and moisture-wicking, meaning garments made from this fabric are comfortable to wear even on warm days.
The key contribution of elastane, also known as spandex or lycra, lies in its stretchy properties. This gives the stretch linen improved freedom of movement and flexibility. The addition of elastane allows the fabric to conform to the body shapes without losing comfort. This means that garments made from stretch linen are not only stylish, but also functional and comfortable. In addition, stretch linen is less wrinkle-resistant than conventional linen without elastane.
The combination of these three fibers in stretch linen allows for a wide range of garments, ranging from elegant blouses to light summer dresses and comfortable trousers. The balance between the smooth viscose, the textured linen look and the stretchy elasticity makes this fabric versatile and adaptable to different fashion styles and occasions.
