Fabric Recommendation (See "Suitable Fabrics to Combine" below)
Vroni has a certain stability, so you should choose more stable fabrics such as denim, corduroy, canvas, or thicker linen, such as our textured linen.
The inner yoke and pocket bags are best sewn from a woven fabric, such as cotton or linen. The yoke pieces are also reinforced with Vlieseline H180, which you can order here at the same time.
Fabric Requirement for a Fabric Width of 140cm
= Up to size 40 > 1.3m
= From size 42 > 1.4m
Info: If you have a patterned fabric and want to cut precisely to the pattern, you will need a little more fabric.
Fabric Requirement for Yokes and Pocket Bags
= approx. 50cm
Required Accessories
– Additionally, an invisible or "concealed" zipper 22-25cm long is needed.
– Vlieseline H180
– When using very sturdy fabrics (denim), I recommend a 90 or 100 or a denim needle.
– Special presser foot for invisible zippers (if available, otherwise a "normal" zipper foot)
– Possibly slightly thicker thread (denim thread) for topstitching decorative seams
